The movie’s ensemble cast includes Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri.At a recent awards event in Chennai, Vanga was asked about his choice of actors for a potential Tamil adaptation of “Animal.” He named Tamil actor Suriya his preferred choice for the lead role, which was met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.

Vanga rose to prominence with his previous film “Arjun Reddy” and its Hindi remake “Kabir Singh,” both met with criticism for their portrayals of toxic masculinity. With “Animal,” Vanga has attracted both praise and debate, with some commending the film’s daring narrative while others pointed out its use of violence and perceived misogynistic elements. Looking ahead, Vanga is preparing for his next project, “Spirit,” in collaboration with actor Prabhas. The film will see Prabhas playing the role of an honest police officer, revealing a different side of the actor’s range.
